Angina
Angina is a kind of chest pain that occurs in the surface of heart muscles. Angina happens due to non availability of enough blood supply for the heart muscles. Suffering with Angina involves severe pain and creates a feeling that the heart is squeezed. Angina also causes pain in other parts of our body such as arms, shoulders, jaw, neck or back. Some times it also causes a feeling of stomach upset. Diet and stress are major contributors to the degeneration of blood vessel health, a process which begins as early as the first decade of life and has usually reached a critical phase from 40-50 years of age.
Remedies for Angina
- Being a natural source of vitamin c, Amla prevents any type of heart disease. Amla can be taken in any forms such as fresh juices or dried condition. It can be added with other food items as well. Due to its exceptional medicinal values, Amla is used in many natural medicinal preparations.
- Lemon acts as a natural deterrent of cholesterol accumulation and clears the blood vessels. Daily use of lemon in our food will go a long way in preventing angina and heart related disease.
- Few drops of honey mixed with warm water and half piece of lemon can be taken every morning in empty stomach. This clears the blood vessels and prevents formation of cholesterol inside. This mixture can also be taken before going to bed. Beet juice also serves as a good remedy in preventing angina.

- Apple has been a wonderful natural remedy for angina and many other heart diseases as well. Apple cleans the blood and ensures smooth blood circulation for all the parts of our body. A person can eat 2 to 3 apples in a day to relieve from angina.
- Few tea spoons of Tulsi juice mixed in warm water along with few drops of honey can give good results for people suffering from angina.
